About Jerry Smith Jr.
Licensed Professional Counselor
With more than 30 years of experience in the field of psychology, I am proud to serve the cities of Knoxville, TN, Nashville, TN, and most recently, Atlanta, GA. After receiving a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Tennessee State University, I realized that there was so much I could do to help my community. These centers were created to be mental health and behavior modification centers.
As a licensed professional counselor, my specialty services cater to individuals with depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and alcohol and drug addiction. I also provide counseling to victims of sexual offenses and to the youth who need behavior modification.
Appointments are available in person, teleconference (Zoom), or via phone. "I meet people where they are in order to get them to where they need to be".

Psychologist
Dr. Thompson received her B.S. in Political Science and M.S. in Psychology, with an emphasis in counseling from Tennessee State University located in Nashville, TN. She went on to earn an additional M.A. in Psychology, with an emphasis in media and a Ph.D. in Psychology, with an emphasis in media from Fielding Graduate University located in Santa Barbara, CA.
